Denver-based photographer Bri Erger has spent the last 24 months weaving together a dialogue between strangers who have never met, creating a safe and intimate space for them to both ask and answer open-ended questions to an anonymous "other." Her photographs, taken during the moments when they are answering another's question, often reveal just as much of their humanity as their own questions and answers do.
Now, the Open Dialogue project is being shown for the first time in Denver through a lens that is equal parts photo exhibit, community gathering, and storytelling experience. The event is designed to encourage a diverse group of people to connect with one another, to listen, gain understanding, and to appreciate our individual and collective human stories and perspectives.
There will be interactive elements throughout the evening, and guests will be able to sign up to be a future participant in the project.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
